No London Beatles Tour would be complete without Abbey Road.

Visit the location of Ringo Starr’s flat at Montagu Square, which also had connections to Jimi Hendrix and John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Paul McCartney also worked on compositions including “Eleanor Rigby” at the address.

Discover another side of the Beatles’ London in Mayfair, where the band’s world increasingly overlapped with London’s music, fashion and entertainment scene during the 1960s.

It goes without saying that Abbey Road Studios, where the Beatles recorded some of their best-known music, is a key location in any London Beatles tour. But there are a few other recording studios that played a significant part in Beatles and the wider London music scene of the sixties and seventies.

Easily missed, tucked down a narrow alleyway, Peter will show you Trident Studios. This was the studio where the Beatles recorded “Hey Jude”. The Fab Four were keen to try out Trident’s eight-track recording technology, working with producer George Martin.

The Beatles and many other well-known bands have a history with De Lane Lea studios, now owned and operated by Warner Bros.
